Our Year 4 children have worked very hard together with Bicycle Network and Port Phillip Council to create 4 ACTIVE TRAVEL PATHS so that our community can travel safely and more easily to school.
Port Phillip Council provided $2000 in matching funds to the school to develop and install the decals and coordinated footpath repairs to make the footpaths safer before installation.
We will launch our Active Travel Paths this Tuesday by walking the active path together with students, parents and members from Bicycle Network and celebrate our achievements at school with visits from Cr Louise Crawford, free coffee and a healthy breakfast for students, staff and our community.
Please meet one of the Year 4 teachers at the start of one of the path or join them along the way and walk together to school for the launch!
