Our incredible Prep to Year 2 children performed like shining stars during their Circus performances at the St Kilda Town Hall last week. Jo and I received an email from an appreciative parent with the most beautiful words that summed up the whole experience for our children and their families.
‘What a magical week this has been for our little Preps, Grade 1s and Grade 2s as they performed their Circus Concert. Thank you for creating this opportunity for the children – the show was so full of joy, smiles and fun. I was struck equally on both evenings about how much passion and dedication they showed and how hard the kids and teachers must have worked to make this happen. The kids just looked so beautiful – their little eyes shining with pride and confidence. I sat there thinking about how these kids are the next generation and felt so proud to be part of a school community that is nurturing them so beautifully and giving them every opportunity to become happy and confident people. Thank you to you both and to the teaching team for creating this opportunity and space for them to be their beautiful best shining selves! What a profound gift you’ve given them.’ (Julia Tehan)
Thank you to The Circus Crew, SKPS staff, especially Mick Rennie and Natasha Ogg and the City of Port Phillip. A huge thank you also to the great audiences we had at each performance!
