Wow! What a wonderful way to end our school year – a delightful performance by all children and then the annual Kelly Woodford Cup! To top it off we had the traditional sausage sizzle and sno-cones were being devoured instantly in the heat. The weather was kind, hot to start with, followed by a lovely cool change and then the thunderstorm struck minutes after the match finished. Luck was certainly on our side! The children conquered once again – 49 to 44!
An enormous thank you to Mick Rennie and all staff in regard to the spectacular performances, our School Captains who were the MCs, Tony Day who worked his last SKPS gig as a Dad (hopefully we will have Tony in our lives for many years to come as our sound and lighting expert!), Peter Grey and Atticus as captains of the parents and children’s teams respectively, Dave and Steve – best umpires imaginable!. Thank you also to the large number of staff and parents who keep the sausages turning and the sno-cones flowing and to everyone who came along to support the event.
