Our school was once again a sea of orange as everyone got into the spirit of GO ORANGE Day! The event was to raise awareness of Prader Willi Syndrome.
There were smiles everywhere with children and staff jamming to Jamal and Andrew’s Greatest Hits!
Jamal, who is now in Year 5, has Prader-Willi Syndrome and on Friday the entire school held a fundraiser disco to support research into this syndrome.
The total amount raised for research into PWS was just shy of $800! Thank you everyone for supporting such a great cause.
Thank you to Jamal and all of his friends for such a wonderful afternoon. The sun was shining, the music was pumping and everyone was dancing to the beat!
A huge thank you to Andrew Pearl, one of Jamal’s ‘stars’ who organised and ran the event! Thanks Andrew. Each year seems to be better than the last!
An enormous THANK YOU also to Tony Day who returned to SKPS, out of the kindness of this heart, to once again provide the sound and lighting. You are a wonderful person Tony! Thank you.
