Recycle your toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes!

Year 2 wants you to bring in your old toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, floss containers and their outer packaging for recycling.

Why?

Did you know that every year in Australia and New Zealand, over 30 million toothbrushes and 90 million toothpaste tubes are thrown away? This is a massive problem for us because this type of waste can be recycled and not just thrown into landfill. When it is in landfill it takes a long time to break down.

If you help us by dropping off your old toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes to the Recycling Station near the office, we can earn money for the school, and maybe even a recycled bench for our lovely orchard.

For all of these reasons we would love you to help us by recycling.
