The process is well underway regarding the election of our 2020 Seito Kai (student leaders).
Q&A sessions were held for all children in Year 5 during September. These sessions were led by the current Seito Kai and opportunity was given for all Year 5 children to ask questions relating to the leadership role.
Children who were interested in applying for the role of Seito Kai were asked to create a video, of no longer than 3 minutes duration, by the end of Week 2 (Term 4).
The children in Year 4 and Year 5 have watched the videos and have voted on their preferred candidates.
The short listed children will now be interviewed by the current Seito Kai, Jo O’Malley and myself, where further shortlisting will occur. The final shortlisted group will present speeches in front of Year 5 and the school’s leadership team.
I am immensely proud of all children who have expressed interest in being a Seito Kai. I have delighted in watching every video. We have incredible children at SKPS!
