- 04/06/2018: Head Lice Alert
We have another outbreak of head lice here across the school. Could everyone please make sure that you check your child's hair and treat if you find anything. It is also vital that you wash and clean any bed clothes and pillows to make sure all the lice have been removed. Thank you everyone for your support in this matter.
- 29/05/2018: Matsuri Day is Finally Here!!
On Thursday 7th June, SKPS will be holding its Matsuri (festival day) to celebrate Japanese Art and Culture and support the LOTE program. This is a wonderful chance for students to immerse themselves in the various cultural traditions of Japan. Please mark it in your calendar. On this special day everyone has the opportunity to dress up in traditional Japanese clothes to further enhance the experience, so now is the time to get your thinking hats on and see what wonderful ideas you can come up with. For example, please come dressed as a Ninja, cartoon characters from Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, a Sumo wrestler, a Karate-kid, in a Judo or martial arts costume or in a traditional Japanese Kimono. Anything Japanese is welcome. Looking forward to a wonderful MATSURI DAY 2018, including some very special guest performances on the day! Domo Arigato (many thanks) Greg Shew - Japanese Teachers
