生活のための学習

I was immensely proud of our children who presented at the ‘Brighter Schools for a Better Tomorrow’ Sustainability Festival at the St Kilda Town Hall last week. Anabel Herr (Sustainability Coordinator) and Eric McCann accompanied the children. The  presentation made by the children was incredibly impressive. Drawn from the UN Sustainable Goals, the children are focussing on 6 priority areas: education, water, climate change, community, wellbeing and a cleaner school environment.
The day was filled with workshops, awards and fun and our children had the opportunity to connect with other primary and secondary students. The children inspired each other as they shared practical sustainability ideas through a variety of 20 minute student-led workshops, Aboriginal Cultural activities, food and music.
The presentation made by our children was a highlight, however to add to our excitement the extensive work undertaken by Anabel was recognised and she was presented with the Teacher Recognition Award f. We are all immensely proud of her! Congratulations Anabel!!!!
