生活のための学習

As the year draws to a close, I would like to say an enormous thank you to Sarah Price, Pete Trimble, Megan Verona, Lauren Prescott, Miriam Hosking, Danielle Lister and Paul Smith for the work they have undertaken and the special ‘colours’ that have added to our school during their time with us. As highly valued and much-loved staff each will be leaving us tomorrow when the school year closes.

Sarah has been such an inspirational, ever enthusiastic and adored teacher who has had such a positive impact upon the children she has taught. She has also been a tremendous support to staff and has worked on School Council over the past 2 years. Her vitality will be greatly missed. Sarah is venturing out into the world and I know whatever she turns her hand to, will be a success!

Peter Trimble, with his endless drive and spirit is setting off to see the world. Pete has a huge personality and has made an enormous difference to the children he has taught. Pete has led our Walk to Sshool Days and has shown great initiative in regard to various school events. He will be greatly missed by all.

Our lovely Megan is due to have her baby next month and with it a whole new world will open up. Megan will make the most wonderful Mum and I have no doubt that she will be back visiting us as soon as she can. Megan is a teacher who fills her children with happiness and everyday they work in a peaceful, highly engaging environment. She runs a magical classroom.

Lovely Lauren is taking leave for a year and will thankfully be returning in 2017! Enjoy every precious moment!

Miriam has also chosen a change to her path in life. Miriam has taught at SKPS for many years and has made a great difference to the lives of many children. We wish you all the very best with your future and may it be a very exciting journey you take.

Danielle has filled many roles across the school supporting a number of children over the past 4 years. She has been tremendous in her roles as she always has an exuberant approach to life and a big colourful personality. Y ou will be greatly missed and we wish you a wonderful future!

Paul has supported the technical side of school life. With growing student numbers our school’s infrastructure has also needed to grow at an exponential rate. Paul has supported the school to ensure our technical needs have been met. Thank you Paul and we wish you the very best.

Change is inevitable. Although we will miss the staff who are leaving we are also excited and looking forward to welcoming new staff across the school. In 2016 we will welcome the following teachers: Natalie Thoburne, Katie Atkins, Michael Johnstone, Sonja Latimer and Courtney Smith. Sophie Banay, Danny Thomas and Greg Ades will join us as new Education Support staff.

Once again we will have a sensational SKPS team!
