生活のための学習

On Friday, we held our Walk to School Breakfast.
The CoPP Mayor, Dick Gross, and Catherine (Sustainable Transport)  were present and were encouraging everyone to continue walking, skateboarding, catching the tram etc to school. Many staff arrived at school early to cut up the vast amount of fruit and buns that were provided for the event.  It was once again terrific to see so many families making their way to school via any mode of transport, other than car.
There are a number of schools all competing against each other to win the ultimate prize – the Smoothie Bike. Regardless of the outcome, I am proud that the data we are collecting shows an increase in the number of families using sustainable transport. Well done!
Each week in October there has been a CoPP prize to encourage everyone in their efforts. Last week, SKPS was given a $250 voucher from Rebel Sports.
Data from all participating schools will now be collated. Fingers crossed!
