James Clapham has been offered a scholarship through the Inclusive Education Grants to undertake a Master of Learning Intervention (Specific Learning Difficulties) at the University of Melbourne.
This course will support James in his current role, leading our Literacy Intervention system at SKPS. The knowledge and skills he gains through this course will directly benefit the children at our school, as he learns how to ensure each child’s specific needs are met, and that they receive the best possible education that they can. Through James’ role as Leading Teacher, he will also be able to support other teachers to deepen their knowledge in this area.
Michael Rankin, one of our newest members of staff, is to be the recipient of an academic award from La Trobe University for the highest overall mark in its Master of Teaching (Primary) program. This is a remarkable accomplishment!
Congratulations to both James and Michael on their wonderful achievements!
