The Year 5 children are well and truly in preparation mode for their Working Bee on Saturday the 9th of November (9 – 12pm). They have been planning their project, ‘The Harmony Hub’, for over a term and now it’s finally time to make their hard work a reality. During the working bee, the children will be painting their mural design, laying grass, planting flowers and herbs and adding seating to make this a space where all SKPS children can come and relax during their playtime.
The area is already well prepared. Trees have been removed, soil turned and on Monday David, Raffi’s Dad, will prepare the wall for the mural.
Thank you to all those who have already offered their time and support to make the project happen. We hope to see as many beautiful faces as possible on the day to lend a hand. There are many jobs to do (including tidying up the Frog Bog) and we could really use your support. Bring yourself, paint brushes, ladders, rakes, shovels, gardening gloves, watering cans and anything else you believe would be helpful.
Please know that you are more than welcome to come along if your child in not in Grade 5. We would love to see as many families as possible.
