A beautiful picture of jelly fish… unfortunately not.

As easy as it was for us to make a mistake so do a large number of marine animals

We all know that we can recycle a variety of plastics in our home recycling bins but when it comes to all that nasty scrunchable plastic such as shopping bags including reusable ‘green’ bags, fresh fruit and vegie bags, bread bags, biscuit packaging and confectionery packaging, rice & pasta packets and frozen food bags we guiltily throw it into the landfill bin.

Not anymore. The wonderful people at Coles and Woolworths now have a soft plastics recycling program. We are lucky enough to have these bins at our local stores in Carlisle St so make sure you collect up all that plastic and take it along the next time you go shopping. Or if you can’t make it to Coles or Woolworths then bring it along to school to our own Recycling Depot at the Main Office!
